] The upper picture was made by the end of august 2003. It was sweltering hot, records were broken and I just loved it. It was dry for a while which you can see by the surrounding meadows. Ideal weather for the swimming pool or with a book somewhere in the shadow. Like I said this area is called ‘t Beggelder and the original farmhouse which was built somewhere around 1710, is called ‘t Trienenhuus. That was usual to give the house a name and many farms are still named with their original names. From 1737 until 1965 the house was inhabited by 7 generations of the same family. The picture on the right was made by my neighbour. In World War II Dinxperlo was bombed very heavily, this house was bombed too. This area was a scene of many soldiers and tanks getting by.
